Find out how our durable hose & fitting solutions are designed to withstand the demands of firefighting by exploring answers to common questions below.
For firefighting, we recommend high-performance hoses that are lightweight, flexible, UV and abrasion-resistant. Our range includes PVC hoses [to AS-1221], rubber hoses and layflat hoses for delivery, and suction hoses designed to handle water acquisition in emergency situations, ensuring reliability in critical moments.

The appropriate hose diameter depends on the specific firefighting application. Hose reels typically use 19mm or 25mm ID hoses, offering excellent manoeuvrability and quick response. Larger diameters, such as 38mm and 63mm, are ideal for high-volume water delivery. Our team can help you select the best diameter based on your operational needs.
Fittings for firefighting are dependant on the requirement of your setup. We have options for quick-release fittings, such as Camlocks, BIC, and Storz. For a more permanent solution, we offer a variety of threaded fittings and nozzles.
To ensure longevity and reliability, firefighting hoses should be regularly inspected for signs of wear, punctures, and leaks. Proper storage—keeping hoses dry and out of direct sunlight—along with periodic pressure resistance testing, helps maintain hose integrity and ensures readiness for emergency use.
